INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

My ambition and experiences lead me to a career in helping developing countries obtain political and economic stability. Growing up on the border in El Paso, Texas, I was curious at a young age about the different cultures and people with whom I interacted. After traveling abroad, I realized of the economic inequalities that exist in our global community and became dedicated to helping the scales become more balanced. In order to achieve my goal, I pursued an education- and experience-rich path to become qualified. In 2015,  I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University (AZ) with concurrent degrees in French and global studies. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Affairs at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. My studies have led me to international experiences within Europe and Africa.

This portfolio will allow you to discover more details about me, my experience at The Bush School, and my travels. Please contact me for further questions and/or discussion.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

Capstone Project

In lieu of writing a thesis, a team of six colleagues and I were given a real-world client to help research a real-world problem. Our research looked at the epidemic of Hepatitis C (HCV)  in Romania. Recently, due to international pressures and advocacy initiatives, the response to HCV is starting to take shape in Romania. The purpose of this study is to create a National Viral Hepatitis Strategy for the government of Romania by quantitatively assessing the impact of services provided by the Baylor Black Sea Foundation’s HCV program with already collected data and qualitatively understanding the context of the data with a visit to Romania.

Knowledgeable. Compassionate. Leader.
